Rasquerra burned forest area restored with Cocoons

Rasquera is a small village in the south-west part of Catalonia, located in a very dry area with increasing problems due to the effect of climate change (less but more intense rainshowers, for example last year they suffered a period with more than 5 months without any rain).
In a forest area that burned down 2 years ago the Volterra team has planted over 150 of the newly developed Cocoons with a mix of rustic tree species. Given the arid climate such areas are almost impossible to regenerate naturally. We will keep a close eye on the performance of the trees this upcoming summer.
